Art Views: Encounters with Artists in Pakistan

This collection of published and edited articles on artists in Pakistan is by way of being a personal appreciation and homage to the gallant and talented artists met through the years. I have been fortunate to meet many of the earlier outstanding painters and observe with great excitement and interest the younger artists making their presence felt in presents times.

It is my experience that strong support to artists came from the media, which took on the role of link between the artists and the public and were also responsible for documenting art events and occasions. My single regret is that as yet no National Museum Art exists to house the precious works of artists of an earlier era. This collection of articles though regrettably carrying but til payday loan a few representative artists’ encounters, is a modest attempt at documentation.
